Meet The Donut Runner

Hi, I’m Laura!, I am a wife and mother who loves running, donuts, and capturing beauty while exploring the world.

This blog is a space to share all things running- gear, races, fuel, etc. I hope it will be a place to inspire you to embrace the beauty of running, whether you have never laced up a pair of running shoes or you run 100 miles a week.

I’ll share my running (and probably non-running) adventures- pictures ALWAYS included, the ins and outs of being a “mother runner”, and where to buy the best donuts (and I won’t lie… all the best forms of junk food).

I will share my passion for being a mental health advocate, and how running saved my life.

Please grab a snack, and snuggle on in while we talk about the GOOD stuff!

My name is Laura, and I’m addicted to three things: running, donuts, and sunrises. I am a mother to four amazing children, and a wife to the most wonderful man alive. We reside near the beautiful Wasatch Mountain Range in Utah, and they provide me with the best running and adventuring playground. I grew up right ‘next door’ in Colorado. I have been running since elementary school when my family participated annually in the world famous Bolder Boulder 10K. Since then, I have qualified for and completed in three of the six World Marathon Majors, discovered a deep love for racing Ultra’s, and love to explore the places I travel by foot while running.

Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.
